When people ask me, "What's your dream job?" I reply with this one, purrfectly powerful statement: "Darling, I do not dream of labor." I dream of napping as much as my cat does in the middle of the week while the rain outside lulls me into a serene slumber.

There's something so calming about a thunderstorm. Especially when you have a cozy comforter to curl up in and cats to snuggle with! It's far more preferable than the unrelenting heat of summer. Just sitting inside and watching the world become wet while you're safely tucked away on your couch, under a blanket, might be one of the best feelings in the world. It does, however, make it pawsitively difficult to get anything done when your whole body is screaming at you to make a nest, put on a good movie, and relax.

But that's exactly what you're here for, right? You didn't click on this list of feline funnies to get work done - you came here to unwind a little bit. Believe me, I get it. With all this coziness in the air, you can't help but embrace sweater weather, grab your cats, and make the best blanket fort the world has ever seen. Just look at cats, they're purrfectly still for 18 hours a day and you know how much value they have! They make you happy, they make your house feel like a home, and they purrvide you with unlimited entertainment and cuddles. If they can do "nothing" and still be loved, then you can as well. They say money can't buy happiness, but happiness can buy you cats, and cats bring happiness. Money can also buy you a house with a room that's dedicated to being cozy. Think giant, plush pillows, a padded floor, twinkly little lights littered around the room to give that dark, comforting glow… I'm getting sleepy just thinking about it! Clearly, whoever invented that saying was rich because I can think of a lot of things that would make me happy with a price tag!

One of the reasons why I love cat memes is because they don't take themselves too seriously. Our social media feeds are so filled with headlines designed to grab your attention or to fear-monger The only purrpose of cat memes is entertainment, to make you, a purrson who loves cats and all their silliness, laugh! No hidden agenda, no woke slogans, just cats sitting in boxes and being measured in flowers.
